Port Townsend Ukulele Festival

Become inspired with others who share the same love of ukulele music as you do! Established in 2013, the Ukulele Festival in Port Townsend, Washington, is three days and four nights of instruction and community building with some of the finest instructors and musicians playing today.

The workshops feature a world-class group of faculty performers who’ll teach a wide variety of styles – jazz, blues, swing, Hawaiian, pop, novelty and jug band ukulele.

I will be teaching Swing Ukulele and performing along with Marianne Brogan, Neal Chin, Nova Karina Devonie, Stu Fuchs, Aaron Keim, Abe Lagrimas Jr., Casey MacGill, Bernadette Mata, Del Rey, Grace Van’t Hof, Victoria Vox, and Matt Weiner!

Join fellow ukulele players for Uketoberfest 2023, a one-day ukulele workshop on Saturday, Oct. 28, for all skill levels. The event will kick off in the morning with a fun open-group strum and will lead into a day of elective master class sessions specific to the uke player. During lunch, which is included with your registration, an open mic opportunity will be available for the enjoyment of participants and audience alike. 

This year’s Uketoberfest guest artists include: Eve Goldberg, Gerald Ross, Pat Malloy, Steve Szilagyi, Chuck Deyo, and John French.

Wheatland Festival

I’ll be performing with Frank Youngman and teaching an intermediate level uke class on Saturday during the 50th Anniversary Wheatland Music Festival, September 8-10, 2023.  Each year, thousands converge on the 160-acre festival site to enjoy a wide variety of traditional arts.  Workshops, demonstrations, dances, and impromptu jam sessions plus stage performances, juried arts and crafts and a wide variety of food.

Allegheny Ukulele Soirée

The Allegheny Ukulele Soirée is Pennsylvania’s longest running Ukulele festival, located in central Pennsylvania in the foothills of the Alleghenies. Dedicated to sharing the ukulele with both the local and ukulele communities, the Soirée blends practical workshops and performances with cultural exploration. Nutmeg Ukulele Festival

I’ll be teaching and playing on stage at the first annual Nutmeg Ukulele Festival, presented by the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center. The one-day festival will include workshops by top teaching artists as well as performances and a community play along. Teaching artists this year are Marcy Marxer, Cathy Fink, Gerald Ross, Cynthia Kinnunen, Eve Goldberg, and Ben Hassenger. Local ukulele celebrity Jim Beloff, will be on hand signing copies of his books. A luthier will be available to look at attendees’ instruments and we will be raffling off some donated ukulele items.

5th Annual Uke Fest Virginia

UkeFest Virginia is a fun, annual celebration of the ukulele brought to you by the River City Ukulele Society, a nonprofit group of like-minded ukulele enthusiasts. We’re happy to invite you to our fifth annual festival, seeing our friends from far and wide, and meeting new friends who enjoy the ukulele! We’re excited to have Gerald Ross as our special guest, as well as our other talented artists and workshop instructors. Food vendors will be available at lunchtime, and our vendors will help feed your UAS. What more could you want? How about carrying a small four-stringed instrument around with a goofy grin without getting strange looks from passersby? WE WILL HAVE THAT TOO!
